General Description:

The Project Manager provides overall management direction on all types of projects, including large industrial and structural projects.  This position establishes project objectives through planning and budgets, serves as the primary point of contact with the client, and monitors construction and financial activities in collaboration with the Superintendent.  The Project Manager is responsible for the financial results of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate job transition and start-up process
  • Manage cost and schedule
  • Oversee the work of direct reports
  • Maintain positive client relationships
  • Generate and know all correct and timely project information
  • Perform initial contract review, cost coding, and preliminary budget
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team to develop an accurate project plan
  • Communicate information, solutions, and opportunities to the entire team when necessary
  • Create change orders, when appropriate, to satisfy customer expectations
  • Prepare, submit, and document all material submittals
  • Review drawings and specs for RFIs
  • Prepare quality control and production records
  • Order and track project materials
  • Accurately maintain project records throughout the course of construction
  • Contract management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
  • Ability to prioritize, work independently, and multitask to meet deadlines
  • Desire to collaborate with team members in a fast-paced, inclusive work environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous construction coordination experience
  • Current valid driver’s license and pre-employment drug screen
